Robert has over 20 years’ experience of working with motor claims, employers liability and public liability claims involving spinal and/or brain injuries, amputations, fatal claims, and other serious injuries, as well as having a niche specialism in handling chronic pain cases. He has acted for a number of significant insurance clients on major incidents, including crane collapses.
Robert is committed to the provision of attention to detail, when handling these types of cases as well as adopting a proactive approach to minimise insurers’ exposure to damages and costs. This includes embracing rehabilitation (medical and vocation) to secure the claimant’s best possible recovery, when appropriate, along with a collaborative approach. He regularly provide insurers with talks on various subjects, including the operation of the Ogden Tables, issues arising in fatal claims, how best to handle chronic pain cases and travel law claims.
