Megan McBrien is a Partner in Keoghs Northern Ireland team, specialising in Catastrophic Injury and Large Loss Employers’ Liability, Public Liability and Motor claims, as well as Product Liability claims, for a number of leading insurance clients and self-insured organisations.
Megan is regularly approached by clients for advice on technical legal points to include jurisdiction and indemnity, and frequently advises on strategy and the intricacies of the Northern Ireland legal system. Megan is known for her thorough analysis and consideration of all relevant liability, causation and quantum issues as well as her commercial approach, to include securing early and positive outcomes for clients and keeping them regularly informed throughout the litigation process. Megan has experience in dealing with particularly complex claims which involve life altering injuries to include limb amputations, traumatic brain injuries, polytrauma and spinal injuries. Prior to becoming a Solicitor, Megan practised as a Barrister at the Bar of Northern Ireland.
