Martin began his career at Keoghs in 1994 and was first made a Partner in 1999. Having successfully balanced client account management with handling catastrophic injury claims, for the last six years Martin has focused solely on defending the most complex and serious catastrophic injury claims.
His current caseload includes claims involving injuries of the utmost severity – spinal cord, amputation, chronic pain, and extensive polytrauma. However, Martin’s primary interest lies in defending brain injury claims. A senior member of the Keoghs Brain Injury Special Interest Group, Martin’s portfolio includes but is not limited to claims involving brain injured children, complex capacity issues, MCS, PDOC. He is passionate about this area of expertise and is routinely instructed to advise insurers on complex and strategic issues in these types of claim.
Martin retains a keen interest in advocacy and often conducts his own court hearings and JSM’s. He continues to write and deliver training on myriad issues within the catastrophic injury space.
