Louise became a partner in 2012 and, since 2013, has focused exclusively on the operational side of the business having retired from handling complex injury claims. In her role as Operational Director for Property Risks & Coverage, Professional Indemnity and Healthcare & Sports, Louise specialises in the management and operational planning of these technical and hourly rate focused teams nationally. This role is multi-faceted, very much people leadership focussed and takes Louise to our offices based in Liverpool, Bolton, Manchester, Bristol and London a number of times per month.
Louise was called to the Bar in October 1999 and joined Keoghs in July 2001. She spent a number of years fee earning and leading delegated authority teams before becoming operational leader of (as was then) the newly formed Complex Injury Claims team in 2006. For a number of years, Louise assisted a Partner on a caseload of large loss and CAT cases alongside running the team from an internal perspective before retiring from file handling in 2013. Having come from the background of file handling and having spent all, bar 1 year of her career, at Keoghs, she has an in-depth knowledge of the operational challenges of handling technically specialist and high value claims and of the operational challenges of these teams. Louise has a passion for people development and enjoys nothing more than when colleagues progress their careers here at Keoghs moving to become the Associates and Partners of the future.
