Katherine is a Partner in the Complex Injury Claims team who joined Keoghs in 2011. She has specialised in defendant litigation since 2000 and handles complex and high value motor, employers and public liability claims on a national and European basis. Katherine routinely handles a broad range of injury cases but has a particular interest in complex chronic pain claims.
A noteable case of interest is Gorringe v Calderdale MBC. A 2004 House of Lords decision which considered whether a common law duty of care arises due to the presence of a statutory duty or power.
