Jonathan specialises in pursuing subrogated property recoveries on behalf of insurers across several perils including fire, impact, escape of water and accidental damage.
Recoveries are crucial in improving cash flow and mitigating claims inflation during challenging economic conditions and Jonathan works with his clients on the end-to-end process, significantly increasing receipts and reducing cycle times. Jonathan has led high performing teams dealing with both volume and complex recoveries across multiple areas including motor, casualty, property, subsidence, enforcement and construction. His breadth of experience in working with a wide range of clients on a variety of recoveries feeds his technical knowhow and deep insight into the industry.
Jonathan completed an Applied Diploma in Business Management at Warwick Business School and developed practical management skills to be applied in real world business scenarios. He has significant experience and expertise in developing new working methodologies, optimising processes, utilising digital technology and AI solutions, improving efficiencies and delivering change management.
As a former head of costs, Jonathan also has expertise in dealing with all types of costs disputes including fixed recoverable costs, no win no fee agreements, non-party costs orders, recoveries, Qualified One Way Cost Shifting (QOCS), retainers and conducted advocacy at CCMC.
