Darrell is the Partner responsible for the Liverpool Legacy Team acting primarily for Corporate clients on disease claims. He has over 25 years’ experience in handling the wide variety of disease claims and the various problems that arise. He has particularly specialism in the area of asbestos litigation.
His current practice largely involves representing Corporate clients and insurers facing claims ranging from RSI and cumulative back complaints, NIHL, dermatitis, asthma, HAVS, stress and those involving asbestos related mesothelioma and lung cancer. In addition, he handles claims for rare cancers including nasal, bladder and endocrine, securing many discontinuances resulting in substantial financial savings to his clients.
Darrell has expertise in handling class actions against Corporate clients arising out of their work processes, including HAVS, NIHL, occupational asthma and rhinitis.
He is responsible for leading the Power, Energy and Utility Sector within the Keoghs, Corporate Risk Team.
Darrell also provides training on all aspects of asbestos, NIHL and disease handling and writes and lectures on disease related matters.
